Last Friday, November 7, we celebrated the First Anniversary of Space Connect, a milestone that represents not only twelve months of growth but also the collective effort of a community that believes in collaboration, opportunity, and the power of small businesses.
The evening began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted in partnership with The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches. During the ceremony, Michael Zeff, President & CEO of The Chamber, shared heartfelt words:
“I’ve had the opportunity over the last year to get to know Estrella and her team, and I don’t know anyone who has more of a heart for lifting up the community than Estrella, also, by the way, our newest member of the board”
Following his remarks, Estrella Parada, Founder and CEO of Space Connect, expressed her gratitude to The Chamber of Commerce for their continued support and highlighted what it means to join the Chamber’s Board:
“Being part of the board brings us even closer to our goal as a small business community, to open doors, share knowledge, and keep building together”
Estrella also took a moment to thank Virginia Savietto, Jorge Sigler, and Axel Miranda, Director of the County Office of Small Business Development, as well as her incredible team: Andrea Cifuentes, Syara Torres, and Ana Perez, for their dedication and commitment. Special thanks were also extended to Abraham Segundo, Charisma Adams, and Jeff Harrington for their support throughout this journey.
The celebration brought together many of our members, partners, and community leaders, people who have played an essential role in shaping what Space Connect has become today: a thriving ecosystem where entrepreneurs, developers, and small business owners connect, collaborate, and grow stronger together.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to empowering our small business community and continuing to create spaces, and opportunities where meaningful connections happen every day.
Here’s to one year of connection, growth, and purpose. This is only the beginning.
