On Monday, September 29, Space Connect took another step toward our mission of connecting small businesses with real opportunities.
Together with several of our members — owners of construction-related small businesses — we joined the City Commission Chambers and Mayor Keith James at the second hearing to approve the development project at 5400 N Flagler Dr, led by Great Gulf.
Thanks to the support of local neighbors, business owners committed to the growth of our community, and the voices of construction entrepreneurs (certified or in the process of certification) who are part of Space Connect, the presence and participation of small businesses were heard and valued.
At Space Connect, we believe that certification is important, but it’s not the only benefit. The real value of being part of our community lies in opening doors, creating connections, and bringing our members into spaces where their voices matter and where they can influence the future of our city.
This moment is proof that:
✔️ Civic and business participation can make a difference.
✔️ Small businesses play a key role in local development.
✔️ Together, we can be part of West Palm Beach’s transformation.
We are truly grateful to each of our members who raised their voices and represented the construction small business community: Jorge Usma from DS Windows, Andrés Lacon from American Custom Doors, Carlos López from Globaltech Contractors, José Alvarenga from Anders HS, Mattias Varlesi from Avalon Builders, Jorge Iribar from JI Plumbing & Construction, Rubén Morales from Morale Visual Production, Leydi Riveros from JS Construction a & Restoration, Jeff Harrington from Harrington Legal Alliance and Jason Abrams from Carbn Investments.
At Space Connect, our mission is to guide, educate, support, and empower entrepreneurs, because we believe that small businesses have the power to build big change.
👉 If you’re a small business owner and want to be part of these conversations and opportunities, connect with us and let’s grow together.
