This past Thursday, Space Connect welcomed Shift Sessions for the very first time in our space, bringing the community together for an evening of inspiration, leadership, and connection.
The night featured a powerful fireside chat with Christina Lambert, City Commissioner and mayoral candidate, who shared not only her vision for the city but also the personal journey that shapes her leadership.
Christina spoke openly about the motivation behind her decision to run for mayor, the values that guide her, and the importance of believing in West Palm Beach’s potential. She touched on moments of self-doubt and how she has learned to use her voice with confidence, even in spaces where she has often been the only woman at the table. Attendees also had the chance to connect with Christina on a personal level as she reflected on her background, family life, and the support system that fuels her work.

The conversation came to life with an engaging audience Q&A, where questions ranged from improving education and supporting small businesses, to engaging the Latino community and strengthening West Palm Beach’s reputation as a city of opportunity.
The evening was expertly moderated by Bhavna Guyadeen, Founder of Shift Media, whose thoughtful questions and dynamic energy created a space for meaningful dialogue. Beyond the fireside chat, the event was also a vibrant networking opportunity, bringing together entrepreneurs, creatives, and engaged residents who connected over shared ideas and community spirit.

As the backdrop, Space Connect proved to be the ideal venue — a modern, creative co-working lounge designed to foster connection and collaboration.
This event would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors:
